Dr David Lee

Dr David Lee trained at the University of Melbourne and has been part of Holdsworth House Dental since 2007. He is known for a calm, attentive approach and for helping patients feel genuinely at ease, particularly those who feel anxious about dental visits.

David embraces a “less is more” philosophy, recognising that each patient has unique goals and that treatment should be flexible, focused and tailored to individual needs. He is an experienced Invisalign practitioner who takes a considered, efficiency-focused approach to treatment planning and, by carefully sequencing aligners and movements, has been able to reduce treatment times by up to 30% for some patients without compromising outcomes.

David also has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, ranging from simple to complex cases. He often uses multi-technique approaches to restore worn or damaged teeth, with a focus on achieving natural, youthful results while preserving long-term function.

He places a strong emphasis on continual learning, regularly updating his skills to ensure patients benefit from current techniques and technologies. With over 20 years in private practice, David has trained with leading clinicians in Australia and overseas, refining both aesthetic and functional approaches to care. He has also completed a mini-residency at Tufts University in Boston in dental sleep medicine, allowing him to support patients with snoring and sleep apnoea in collaboration with medical specialists.
