Nina Martens

Nina brings more than 20 years of experience to Holdsworth House Dental, having worked as a Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist since 2003. She completed her Diploma in Dental Therapy in 2003 before earning a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Newcastle in 2007. Nina continues to undertake regular professional development and is an active member of the Oral Health Association of Australia.

Throughout her career, Nina has worked across a diverse range of clinical settings. Her experience includes providing dental care to remote Aboriginal communities through the Menzies School of Health Research in Darwin, as well as outreach work alongside the Royal Flying Doctor Service. She also works at Sydney Dental Hospital, providing care to adults and families through community health clinics and to patients with special needs. She takes great pride in mentoring Bachelor of Oral Health students and sharing her experience with emerging clinicians.

Nina brings a gentle and compassionate approach to care, along with a naturally upbeat and positive outlook. She is passionate about prevention and helping patients maintain their oral health over the long term, while making each visit as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

Outside the clinic, Nina enjoys entertaining family and friends on weekends and spending time outdoors with her family, enjoying picnics and exploring local parks.
